Meet Michael Cubell — Your Insurance Advocate
My name is Michael Cubell, and I’ve been a licensed insurance agent since 2013. I got into this business for a deeply personal reason.
Years ago, I helped my grandmother and uncle navigate the complicated world of Medicare and Medicaid. I saw firsthand how confusing and overwhelming it can be — especially during a time when you’re also dealing with health challenges and family decisions. I was there through it all, right up until my grandmother passed.
Later, I became the Medicare agent AND power of attorney for a close friend in Arizona who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. I helped him find the right doctors, the right coverage, and eventually the right housing as his needs changed.
Those experiences shaped everything about how I run my business today. I don’t just sell insurance — I advocate for my clients. I’m the person you can call when you get a confusing medical bill, when you need help understanding your coverage, or when something just doesn’t feel right.
I’ve helped hundreds of families across North Carolina and 12 other states find the right Medicare, health insurance, and life insurance coverage — and I treat every client like family.
