ACA Health Insurance
Affordable Care Act marketplace plans for individuals and families. We help you find subsidies, compare plans, and enroll — whether it’s Open Enrollment or you have a qualifying life event.
Health Coverage You Can Afford
The Affordable Care Act (ACA) created the Health Insurance Marketplace where individuals and families can shop for health coverage. Many people qualify for premium tax credits (subsidies) that significantly lower monthly costs — sometimes to $0/month.
We help you navigate the marketplace, determine your subsidy eligibility, compare plans from available carriers, and handle the enrollment paperwork. Our services are free — you pay the same premium with or without an agent.
Individual Plans
Coverage for you or you + your family. Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum tiers with different cost-sharing levels. Subsidies can make Silver plans especially affordable.
Family Plans
Cover your spouse and dependents under one plan. Children can stay on a parent's plan until age 26. Family subsidies are based on household income and size.
Short-Term Plans
Temporary coverage for gaps between jobs, waiting periods, or other transitions. Not ACA-compliant but can provide essential protection during coverage gaps.
When Can You Enroll?
Open Enrollment: November 1 – January 15 each year is the annual window to enroll in or change ACA marketplace plans for the following year.
Special Enrollment Period (SEP): Qualifying life events — like losing other coverage, getting married, having a baby, or moving — can trigger a 60-day window to enroll outside of Open Enrollment.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does ACA health insurance cost?
It depends on your income, household size, age, and location. Many people qualify for premium tax credits that lower monthly costs significantly. Some qualify for $0/month plans. We’ll help you calculate your subsidy and find the most affordable option.
What’s the difference between Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum plans?
These metal tiers reflect how costs are shared between you and the plan. Bronze has the lowest premiums but highest out-of-pocket costs. Platinum has the highest premiums but lowest out-of-pocket costs. Silver plans are often the best value because extra cost-sharing reductions are available for qualifying incomes.
Can I get ACA insurance if I’m self-employed?
Absolutely. The ACA marketplace is designed for individuals who don’t get insurance through an employer, including self-employed workers, freelancers, and small business owners. You may also qualify for premium tax credits.
What if I missed Open Enrollment?
You may still qualify for a Special Enrollment Period if you’ve had a qualifying life event in the past 60 days — like losing coverage, moving, getting married, or having a baby. Contact us and we’ll check your eligibility.
